Just a trucker hat? I think Not!!! After testing numerous hat blanks, I decided the “industry standard” was lacking (much like it is in the training industry). I don’t want “standard” anything when I can have the best. So how is this hat better than your current training hat, and/or the one you wear out on town?
Glad you asked. Firstly, NO BUTTON ON TOP to interfere with/ annoy you while wearing ear-pro. Instead it has a sewn piece of loop velcro joining the panels.
It is a special version Richardson blank - so high quality materials and construction by the top hat manufacturer (no bargain BS). It keeps getting better because it features upgraded Rip-Stop material for the front half. This material also makes it more resistant to sweat rings & easier to clean for that fresh look.
Mid-height profile, as opposed to standard full height, means it better fits the human head. This increases comfort (especially with hearing protection muffs), as well as simply looks better on you than that hat that makes you look like you have an alien head.
Screen printing a logo is way cheaper, but Embroidered Logos will last forever. These hats are embroidered by a small business in East Texas that employs hardworking Americans who care about their craft, and your satisfaction with their work (they also like dogs, and will give yours a treat if you visit their shop).
My mentor, James Yeager, pioneered the “right side logo” on hats. You will look like a hero in all your downrange photographer pictures, as it will show on the side brass is ejecting. I decided to keep that idea going (You will notice most all hats have logos on the left side, bc those companies don’t have the b@ll$ to get those hero shots for you anyway).
